Former Spanish football player Jose Antonio Reyes died three years ago in a terrible car accident.
On June 1, 2019, Reyes had a flat tire at high speed (187 km/h), his Mercedes S 550 went off the road and caught fire from the force of the impact.
The investigation determined that Reyes was responsible for the accident that also killed his cousin Jonathan, and that if he had survived, he would have been prosecuted.
However, after the death of Reyes, financial problems arose in the family. The heirs found themselves in an unpleasant situation and the banks began to seize the real estate that the football player bought using loans.
The family of the dead player can’t repay the debts, so the bank has already taken away their summer house, and now it’s the turn of the apartment in Cadiz where Reyes used to spend his holidays with his family and friends.
The apartment is valued at 135,000 euros, it covers 132 square meters with a terrace of 90 square meters where a swimming pool has been built. There is also a parking space in the apartment.
The cottage, which has already been taken away, is valued at 3.65 million euros, but no one has yet made an offer for it and it is still for sale.
It should be noted that Reyes paid 1.39 million euros for it, but after his death the family could not pay the installments and are currently fighting to keep at least something in their possession.
