Barcelona have reached an agreement with Newcastle United to sign winger Anthony Gordon.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the agreement has been reached between the parties and the details have been revealed.
“Anthony Gordon to Barcelona, here we are! Official offer now accepted by Newcastle board and Saudi owners,” Romano initially wrote.
“Fixed fee of €70m plus bonuses to take final package to over €80m for Newcastle United.”
“Gordon will travel this week for medical examinations and signing the contract with Barça,” the transfer expert concluded.
Otherwise, Gordon will become Barcelona’s most expensive transfer since they signed Antoine Griezmann in 2019.
The Englishman has scored six goals in 26 Premier League games this season, while he has had much more success in the Champions League, where he has scored ten times in 12 games.
