Chelsea are continuing to look for defensive reinforcements and Manchester City centre-back Abdukodir Khusanov has been added to their list of summer targets.
According to journalist Aaron Ramiro, the Blues have already made contact with the 22-year-old’s representatives, discussing the possibility of a transfer during the summer transfer window.
The report adds that the Uzbekistan international is one of several options Chelsea are considering to strengthen their defensive department, as the London club aim to increase competition and quality at the back.
Khusanov joined Manchester City in January 2025, following a transfer from Lens, which cost the English champions around 40 million euros.
In the current 2025/26 Premier League season, the defender has made 18 appearances, accumulating 1,159 minutes on the pitch and confirming himself as a rising talent in English football.
