However, Roma have no intention of giving up on the Brazilian easily. The Italian club consider Wesley an important part of their long-term project, especially since he has a contract valid until 2030.
Reports suggest that only an offer exceeding €55 million could force the Roman club to consider selling him during the upcoming transfer window.
