Hansi Flick Will Hold a Meeting With Four Players – Their Futures in Doubt

News

Barcelona are looking to make some big signings this summer for the first time in four years, targeting a centre-back and a centre-forward, in a bid to push the team closer to the Champions League final.

However, for this to happen, the Catalans will most likely have to sell players to free up enough space within the salary cap.

As usual, speculation is rife about the names that could leave. It has been rumoured that Barcelona would consider selling Raphinha or Fermin Lopez if a big enough offer came in, but both have publicly stated that they intend to stay.

The same goes for Marc Casado, considered by many to be a candidate for departure, but he too has said he is “excited to stay for many years.”

However, there are several players for whom Barcelona would be willing to listen to offers. According to Mundo Deportivo , coach Hansi Flick is expected to hold individual meetings with at least four players to discuss their futures at the club next season.

He will talk to them about their plans and wishes and then, together with the club, will make a decision on how to proceed.

Among the names included are full-backs Alejandro Balde and Jules Kounde, as neither started last Sunday’s El Clasico, having lost their place in the lineup to Eric Garcia and Joao Cancelo.

Flick is not giving him the right space, the Barcelona star is considering leaving

Swedish striker Roony Bardghji is another player with whom Flick will discuss possible options.

Meanwhile, captain Ronald Araujo is also on this list, as he has not had many minutes available, although his case is considered special due to his absence in December.

The Uruguayan remains determined to stay this summer, despite the lack of playing time.
