Oliver Kahn has offered high praise for Michael Olise, highlighting the attacking midfielder’s impressive performances for Bayern Munich and suggesting he is developing into a serious Ballon d’Or contender.
Kahn noted Olise’s form in recent weeks, highlighting his increasing influence on Bayern’s attacking play and his consistency at the highest level.
“If you look at his game in recent weeks, Michael Olise is definitely on track to win the Ballon d’Or,” Kahn said.
The French striker has been a key figure for Bayern this season, recording 18 goals and 25 assists in 43 appearances in all competitions, further cementing his reputation as one of the most outstanding players in European football.
Olise played two outstanding games for Bayern against Real Madrid, where the Bavarians advanced to the semi-finals after two victories in two matches 1-2 and 4-3.
