nter have been linked with a surprise move for Phil Foden, with Italian journalist Paolo Condo suggesting the Manchester City striker could be tempted by a move to the Nerazzurri, at a time when the club’s pursuit of key creative target Nico Paz is looking increasingly unlikely.
According to Calciomercato.it, Inter have long identified Nico Paz as the ideal profile – a player capable of creating individual advantages and “opening up” opposing defenses.
However, Real Madrid are expected to activate the Argentine’s buy-back clause and there is no guarantee that they would then allow a new sale.
Speaking to Sky Sport 24, Condo proposed Foden as a serious alternative.
“He has had less space at City this year, perhaps due to some off-field problems. But, with a serious and interesting offer, he could be tempted by an experience in Italy,” Condo said.
Foden has a contract with Manchester City until June 2027, which means he has just over a year left on his current deal.
Although his talent is unquestionable and he would represent a move to the next level, Condo admitted that the chances of the England international leaving the Premier League for Serie A remain low.
