Delle Alli’s career started to go downhill from his time at Tottenham, but the final blow came after a move to Everton under manager Frank Lampard. The British fan who is already on loan in Turkey at Besiktas, was suggested to coach Lampard by Harry Redknapp. But Redknapp recently admitted he was wrong about Delle Alli, pointing out that he was a disaster at Everton.
“Dele Alli was a disaster at Everton, I saw him play and just miss the ball. He walked on the field, he didn’t run, I don’t know what happened to him. He’s gone to Turkey now, but where is his career going? He signed for Everton and that day he showed up in a Rolls Royce, where do you think he’s going with this behavior?”, concludes Redknapp.
Expectations for Dele Alli were high as in England he was considered one of the most distinguished offensive players of his generation, but distractions beyond the world of football caused the 26-year-old to lose motivation for football as he has already ended up outside the big stages. World
