The Portuguese coach has the option to leave Benfica at the end of the season for free and has not yet made a decision on his future.
A return to Madrid, where he still enjoys great respect from the club’s management, could be a strong temptation, especially considering that he is considered to still have “unfinished business” in the Spanish capital.
