The magazine So Foot revealed in the first days of September the accusations against the 81-year-old, who has held the post of head of French football since 2011. The latter has reacted by suing the French magazine for defamation.

Le Graet met this morning with the Minister of Sports in France. Amelie Oudea-Castera has ordered the launch of investigations into such a case immediately after the conversation with the FFF president.

It is about a “control mission” that will be carried out by the state inspection body responsible for sports in France. Le Graet is accused of sexually harassing several women who work for the Federation, an action for which he may suffer before the start of the World Cup.

France lands as the defending champions in Qatar. The World Cup will take place from November 20 to December 18, as Deschamps’ team is part of Group D along with Denmark, Australia and Tunisia.
