Toni Kroos has commented on the growing speculation about a possible return to Real Madrid, but has maintained a cautious and non-confrontational stance in his response.
Speaking on his podcast “Einfach mal Luppen” alongside his brother Felix Kroos, the German legend was asked directly about the rumours linking him with a return to the club in a non-playing role.
Kroos replied: “I can’t say anything about that, I don’t want to say anything, because I don’t know anything.”
Then he said to his brother, “This is the answer you can continue to give.”
Recent reports have suggested that Kroos could return to the Santiago Bernabeu as a bridge between the players and the board, or in a role within the academy to develop young talent at La Fabrica.
Kroos has previously described Real Madrid as his “home” and has not ruled out a future return in an administrative or technical role.
However, he has also stressed the need for a break from the demands of professional football, following his retirement from active football at the end of the 2023/2024 season.
