Bild reports that the 52-year-old lost his temper. He took a chainsaw and destroyed a neighbor’s garage.

The reason? He claims that the neighbor had built a new garage on his land, obscuring the wonderful views of Lake Starnberg.

Germany has had a property on Lake Starnberg for 15 years. It was 2007 when he was playing with Arsenal while they bought him for 4.2 million euros.

The German daily also claims Lehmann tried to turn off a security camera to avoid detection.

This is not the first time he has caused problems in the area where he lives. The German police have launched an investigation into the incident.

Lehmann was active during his career with clubs such as Arsenal, Milan, Schalke 04, Dortmund and Stuttgart, while he defended the goal of the German national team on 61 occasions.
