Chelsea are planning significant moves in the attacking department, with Morgan Rogers seen as the ideal partner for Cole Palmer in a long-term project.

According to TeamTalk reports, the Blues have renewed their interest in the Aston Villa attacking midfielder, considering him a key part of the team’s future.

Chelsea are expected to be active in the transfer market during the summer, after a relatively quiet January, with reinforcements planned in several departments, including defense, midfield and especially attack.

The club is looking for a versatile offensive player, a profile that Rogers fully fulfills, as he can play both on the left wing and in the center.

Reports suggest that club executives want to build the offensive line around Palmer, “pairing” him with Rogers in a promising duo for the future.

The move is strongly supported by co-director of recruitment, Joe Shields, who is pushing for the transfer to happen.

Meanwhile, Rogers’ impressive form this season with 10 goals and 7 assists in 45 games has increased interest in him, while his market value is believed to reach around 100 million pounds.
