The drama surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo has, as expected, involved members of his family who have been his best lawyers throughout his career.
The Portuguese ace has been in the center of attention for a long time, but not because of the releases on the field, but because of the controversies first in Manchester United, and now in the national team. One of his sisters, Elma Aveiro, in her well-known, simple-minded way, came to his defense on social media.
“I would ask those 1% desperadoes and hypocrites not to talk shit about my brother. Don’t bite the hand that feeds you. Support Portugal whoever plays, Portugal is a team, it’s not just Ronaldo. Congratulations to the team, the coach, and especially to Ronaldo. He will be eternal. I am proud of you, of everything you are and what you represent in this world. Stay as you are,” said Elma.
Criticisms against Ronaldo and his behavior come from all sides, but for his family he is still a god and will remain so.
