Inter Plan Revolution in Defense – 3 Names on Their List

News

According to reports from Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport , Inter have begun work on strengthening their defensive department during the summer transfer window and have identified three main targets: Oumar Solet, Evan Ndicka and Jhon Lucumi.

The “Neurazzurri” are expected to make significant changes in defense, as the departure of veteran Francesco Acerbi looks increasingly likely, while the future of Stefan de Vrij still remains unclear.

At the top of the Italian club’s wish list is Udinese defender Oumar Solet.

The Frenchman has impressed immensely in Serie A since last season, becoming one of the most prominent defenders in the championship thanks to his physical strength, composure on the ball and security in duels.

His performances have attracted the attention of several big European clubs, but Inter seem to be trying to move quickly to secure his transfer.

Inter had also been monitoring Sassuolo talent Tarik Muharemovic, but negotiations for this deal have stalled in recent weeks, causing the black and blue leaders to focus on other, safer alternatives.

Meanwhile, Roma could also part ways with Evan Ndidi in the summer. The Ivory Coast defender is considering a new adventure, while the financial situation of the Roman club could force the directors to listen to offers.

Another name on Inter’s radar is Jhon Lucumi. The Colombian has had a very good season with Bologna and is considered an ideal profile for the Milanese team’s style of play.

Inter Milan’s leaders are aiming to build a younger and more dynamic defence for next season, as the club prepares for significant changes to its squad after an intense season in Italy and Europe.
