Juventus are pushing hard to sign Bernardo Silva in the summer. According to reports, the Italian club are expected to hold new talks with the player’s agent, Jorge Mendes, in the coming days.
Silva recently confirmed he will leave Manchester City at the end of the season, ending a highly successful nine-year spell with the English champions. His future is expected to be one of the main topics of discussion in the summer transfer window.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus CEO Damien Comolli will soon meet with Mendes to discuss the possibility of a move to Turin, as the “Old Lady” hopes to win the race ahead of Barcelona and other interested clubs.
Bernardo Silva is reportedly aiming to remain at the highest level of European football, despite huge financial offers from MLS and Saudi Arabia.
However, Juventus must first secure Champions League qualification, as the transfer would be costly and Silva wants to continue playing in Europe’s biggest club competition.
