Barcelona received a big blow, which for the time being will not be able to register the five summer signings. It happened right before the start of the new Primera season.

The leaders of the Spanish championship rejected this request from the Catalans. Despite the crisis, Xavi Hernandez’s team managed to bring in Franck Kesi, Andreas Christensen, Rafinha, Robert Lewandowski and Gilles Kunde, who are currently ineligible for the team.

Primera is reportedly blocking Barca’s attempt to bring their players into the new system, as it would require more financial resources than they currently have. Also, Sergi Roberto and Ousmane Dembele, the two players who have signed new contracts, cannot be registered at this time.

This means that the Catalan giant will have to look for a fourth package of “financial injection”. With the previous three, he managed to get 767 million euros, which for the time being is not enough to register the big reinforcements.
