Pep Guardiola Reveals His Dream Job

News

Pep Guardiola has reportedly told close friends that he would like to manage the England national team in the future. He did so just days after leaving Manchester City, with whom he won 17 trophies in ten years.

Journalist Jack Gaughan, who covers City for the Daily Mail , has revealed Guardiola’s conversation with his friends.

“I don’t think we’ll see him in club football again, although he’s known for changing his mind quickly. A few days ago, as he was saying goodbye to the fans in Manchester, his eldest daughter posted something on Instagram. She wasn’t just writing about City, she was writing about football in the past tense, which sounded like a farewell letter.”

“However, he has told friends that he would like to manage England in the future, so if the circumstances match, that is something to consider,” Gaughan revealed to Sky Sports .

The obstacle on the road to the England bench

There has been speculation that Guardiola wants the chance to challenge for a world title, having won everything there is to win in his club career.

He has won six English league titles with City, including four in a row, and three Spanish and German titles with Barcelona and Bayern. However, the three-time Champions League winner has yet to prove himself as a manager in a major international competition.

If he is interested in managing the England national team, Guardiola will have to be patient, the media remind us.

Current coach Thomas Tuchel signed a new contract in February that will keep him in the position until the 2028 European Championship.
