French legend Thierry Henry has heaped praise on Barcelona’s young talent, Lamine Yamal, after another impressive performance.
Speaking about the rising star, Henry said: “This is something unique and exciting to watch,” Henry said.
He also made a comparison to Cristiano Ronaldo at the beginning of his career.
“This is what a young Cristiano Ronaldo used to do: he spoke with confidence in interviews and then proved it on the pitch.”
The Frenchman was particularly impressed by Yamal’s mentality.
“What impresses me even more is his lack of fear. At such a young age, he plays with confidence, creativity and maturity beyond his years.”
“He doesn’t hide, he looks for the ball and makes things happen when they matter most. That’s the mark of a special player.”
In the end, he expressed his belief in the future of Spanish talent.
