UEFA confirmed on Monday the names of the referees who will officiate the finals of the main European competitions this season.

The Champions League final, where Arsenal will face defending champions Paris Saint-Germain, will be refereed by German Daniel Siebert.

Siebert also refereed the second leg of Arsenal’s semi-final against Atletico Madrid. The final is played on May 30.

Meanwhile, the Europa League final between Freiburg and Aston Villa, which takes place on May 20, will be officiated by French referee Francois Letexier – the same referee who also refereed the Euro 2024 final.

The Conference League final between Crystal Palace and Rayo Vallecano, which will be played a week later, will be refereed by Italian Maurizio Mariani.

UEFA also announced that two assistant referees of the same nationality as the main referee have been appointed for each final.

In women’s football, the Women’s Champions League final between Barcelona and Olympique Lyonnais, on May 23, will be refereed by Swede Tess Olofsson.
